Chatelherault Autumn in the Chatelherault Country Park, Hamilton, South Lanarkshire. The park houses the former hunting lodge of the Duke of Hamilton and Cadzow Castle. Avon Water runs through the west side of the park.

Queen Anne The Queen Anne leaving Greenock and bound for Liverpool. She is on her way back to Southampton after cruising around Iceland and visiting various places including Reykjavik and Akureyri. Snowdon Looking down on the summit of Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa). At 3,560 feet (1,085 metres) Snowdon is the highest peak in England and Wales. A rack-and-pinion railway (opened 1896) runs from Llanberis to the summit. Information on the National Park Website
Corgarff Castle Corgarff Castle is an interesting place to visit. On the Historic Environment Scotland website it says “Originally a noble residence, Corgarff became an army base for hunting down Jacobite sympathisers and, later, whisky smugglers.”
