Corgarff Castle Corgarff Castle is an interesting place to visit. On the Historic Environment Scotland website it says “Originally a noble residence, Corgarff became an army base for hunting down Jacobite sympathisers and, later, whisky smugglers.”
Outdoor Ceilidh at Kelvingrove June and another very successful outdoor ceilidh at Kelvingrove. The wet weather at the start didn’t dampen the spirits and we were rewarded with some nice sunshine. Govan Footbridge A tiny planet image of the Govan Footbridge also known as the Swivelly Bridge. The bridge joins Govan and Partick in Glasgow and was opened on 6th September 2024. Information on the Glasgow City Council website.
Forth Bridge Walk A circular walk north over the Forth Road Bridge returning by train over the Forth Rail Bridge.
