Buttermere A typically wet day in the Lake District. The plan was to walk around Buttermere and up Haystacks but because of the rain Haystacks can wait for another day. Still managed a nice walk around Buttermere and a drive over Honister Pass
John Knox The statue of John Knox in the Glasgow Necropolis. It was erected in 1825 and predates the cemetery which opened in April 1833. Information about the statue can be found on the Friends of Glasgow Necropolis website.
Snowdon Looking down on the summit of Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa). At 3,560 feet (1,085 metres) Snowdon is the highest peak in England and Wales. A rack-and-pinion railway (opened 1896) runs from Llanberis to the summit. Information on the National Park Website
Drummond Castle Gardens A short visit on a nice afternoon to Drummond Castle Gardens near Crieff. It was a bit early in the year to see the gardens at their best and it was during a very dry spell of weather. Will be trying to visit again in the future.

Forth Bridge Walk A circular walk north over the Forth Road Bridge returning by train over the Forth Rail Bridge.
